Extracurriculars

We have many active clubs and organizations on campus. These include Honor Society, Student Council/Student Government, Echoes yearbook staff, Spanish Club, FCCLA, FBLA, FCS, and SADD.
Athletics
​
Our athletics program includes state championships in volleyball, softball, wrestling and track; regional, area, and county championships in football, basketball, and baseball; and many other team and individual awards.
Activities
Our school offers many different academic, athletic, and extra-curricular activities for our students.
Academics
​
From college credit to business industry certification, Saks High School offers a variety of academic opportunities for students in grades eight through twelve.
At Saks High, we follow a proactive behavior plan called CHAMPS:
Conversation: Can students talk to each other during an activity?
Help: How do students get the teacher's attention and their questions answered?
Activity: What is the task? What is the end product?
Movement: How should students move around during this activity?
Participation: How do students show they are fully participating?
Success: When students meet CHAMPS expectations, they will be successful!
